Heaven On Earth

For the most part I rarely watch TV there is not much I care to watch especially the news. The interesting thing that I notice is that if there is something of great importance that I should know about it eventually gets to me so that I am aware of it.

Right now what keeps coming my way is what is going on with our Mother Earth in regards to all the earthquakes and volcanoes. I have heard different scenarios from different people about what is going on and I’m sure in their minds what they speak of is valid and I’m not going to tell you who is right or wrong. What I will do is present a couple of viewpoints for you to ponder…

What if what were going through right now globally was happening without the phone, TV, radio, and the internet being in existence. In other words global communication would be at a much slower pace. Do you think humanity would be talking about it as much with what is going on in other parts of the world? To me because we have the ability to communicate at a much quicker rate than ever before that puts humanity in a heightened alert to either “react’ or “respond” to each current event. I prefer to “respond” as I hear or see events instead of “react” which to me comes across as fear based.

Fear based…

If you are concerned about what is going on globally what have you done personally to shift that energy? Did you do anything yesterday? Today? Will you do anything tomorrow?

It is funny to me that some people are hoping for the best and expecting the worst without doing anything or very little.

Depending on your level of awareness there is something you can do…a simple thought of Joy, a simple prayer of gratitude, touching the ground and honoring the earth for BEing alive, or telling a stranger silently I Love you. Every one of these examples will DO something both globally and for your Self and every one is some form of action that signifies that you care.

That you care…

So do you care? What will you DO to shift the energy and create a better outcome of whatever is happening? We all have the ability to DO something…and if you don’t know how ask someone, but the choice to start is on each of us.

Create Heaven on Earth…if not Now, when?

Are You Enslaved By Your Ego?

What we refer to colloquially as the “ego” is essentially the repository of all the needs that supposedly define who an individual is. I say “supposedly” because in fact that is “not” who they really are, it’s only who they “think” they are.

For instance how many times have you heard expressions like “you don’t meet my needs”? The “my” implies that those needs belong to the individual whose needs they are.

If you look at the impact that such needs have on an individual you will quickly see that they determine how that person’s entire life will unfold.

In other words they become the central organizing principles around which that person will find meaning in their life. That is because a need’s purpose is to generate a motivation to get it filled and as long as there is a need it will press the individual into action to fill it.

So as long as there are needs to be met there will be an internal pressure “forcing” the individual to meet them…
